Can a Blind Burmese live with another burmese
Hi I have a albino burmese whos blind and I'm trying to figure out if it would be ok to house him with another burmese (who isnt blind). I dont know if it would be to stressful for him. Anyone have any ideas or advice?

NO NO NO. One thing you will always hear on this site is never house one snake with another unless they are breeding. People say they are snuggling, but really they are fighting for the best spot. It will stress one of them out and could cause them to stop eating. Please do not house them together for their safety.
One other reason, check out this thread.http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ocodile+hunter
Those may be retic's but the same could happen with a burm.

Snakes are solitary animals (other than for breeding). When they are near another snake, regardless of species, they feel threatened, either for food sources, hiding places or even against attack from the other snake. It is not uncommon for snakes who would not normally prey on other snakes to cannibalize and eat their cage mates, and many from that unfortunately die (the shock of eating so large a prey or from vomiting the meal afterwards).

In order to give your pet the best possible environment, it's best if you house them seperately, with the exception for breeding. =)

How do you know he's blind?Yes and it is best for you and your Burm's to house them in different enclosure's.

    Also
-If one of the snake gets sick, both are. This makes it imposible to tell which snake's poo is which and which snake regurged for the most part
-The burm market is already over flowing with unwanted burms. If they ended up mating, what would you do with the babies? Would you feel bad when almost all of them end up in small cages and are severly neglected?

Sorry, Burms are a touchy subject to me.
