Really need your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ON saturday, I had to rush my son to hospital because i just sensed something not right. To find out he has meningitis. And I finally got home today to chgange out of 3 day old clothes and shower and was told that my other 2 childern were showing the same symptoms. So IM now on way to hosp wit hthem.

I am so so very sorry to hear this.
It sounds like your great mom intuition might have helped in saving him. I'm glad he was able to get treatment early on.
You just keep doing what your doing and I know he and your other two children will be ok.
My families thoughts are with you.
Please let us know when you have time on how they are doing.
Also please if you need anything don't hesitate to email or call. Even if just to vent.

my daughter was 2.5 yrs old when she came down with meningitis... i can't imagine going thru that with three kids... i'm sending loving thoughts and healing energy to you all.

Prayers, good thoughts and much love Jessica. This must be awful for you and as a mother myself, there is nothing worse in life than any threat to my children, medical or otherwise. Gather close to you any family, friends or neighbours that can help, use their resources so you can focus in on the kids right now. Man am I glad these last couple of weeks are over. Here is the update as last night i just finally got out of hospital with all the kids.

Here in Ireland and in sure in the UK as well they give the children a vaccine for meningitis. It seems that if you have this vaccine that when you are exposed to it and do get it you get all the symptoms but the tell tale rash. All my children have had it now and please god never again. My oldest and youngest seemed to respond to the meds well and were over it in a few days, but my middle daughter (you remember the lovely angel I posted not to long ago) didnt respond well at all. She was on life support for 3 days and scared the living hell out of me. She has now recovered and got home yesterday night.

All recovered, now it is time for me to recover from it all. Retail theropy and packing for my trip should do the trip. But after sleeping on the floors, and all the running around I now hurt in places I never knew I had. Now its off to clean out snake tubs and the rest that so badly need it. And One suprise I got that was good and bad was one of my corn snakes had eggs while I was gone. the bad was they were all slugs. 12 eggs and none surviving. I really wish I was there in time to get them out and save them. She is a rescue and I know had 2 other clutches this season. one with the old owner who hatched out the babies and sold off the female, and one clutch in the rescue I got her from, and now one here. Maybe next year I will get a clutch worth jumping around about. she is happy and skinny now and in need of a major boost so IM feeding small and often for a month then will see how she is. I have adopted her and the other 3 as my own. And the kids think they are great.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. Just knowing you guys were there made it easier for me.
