    What does this mean?
Ok so this has been buggin me and I've searched and haven't gotten any results...

What does it mean when ppl put number's in front of there different types of snakes?

i.e. 1.1 Female Ball, 1.4 Male Ball, yadda yadda

I have a feeling it has something to do with breeding/morphs or something along those lines. Can some explain what the numbers mean?

    thx

    0.1 means a female

    1.0 means a male
    0.0.1 means its unknown.
Search the FAQ's as I believe it is in there.

It is the General Herp FAQ, which incidentally happens to be stickied :P :)

    You da man!

We thought about making each question a sticky . . but then you wouldn't see any actual posts until the second page or so for the sheer numbers.

Thanks again for all the help on the FAQs - esp our hard-working staff for making it happen - and of course all our steadily contributing members. Raj's video on posting pics still gets its own sticky though - above and beyond the call of duty!

I think part of the problem with the FAQ is that they are located in the individual forums. I know that makes sense, but many people go to the Main page and read the messages from there. There is a FAQ in the menu bar on the Main page, but unfortunately the FAQ page there isn't very clear. For instance, you have a section on that FAQ page for Herp Related FAQ, but none of the new FAQs seem to be there.

    Just a little outsider input...

Yeah, we put the new FAQs in the individual forums so that the search function could grab onto the key words in the FAQs, as well as trying to make the whole thing more easily found and navigated. The FAQ link in the top menu bar hasn't been updated in quite awhile. I'll check into that, and see about making it more useful.

BTW, just so I don't sound like a complete Negative-Nelly, I want to give some major Kudos to all the mods for the work they did putting together the new FAQs. Lots of great info! :sweeet:

sorry guys/gals I really did try searching for it, couldn't really figure out what keyword would be for my search . I never knew those faqs existed but they're super helpful.

    thx again
