    Humidifiers
Alright so all the temps are ok but in order for me to get the perfect temp balance I am having to use a ceramic bulb and an UTH (The UTH sucks and doesn't raise the temp on the hot side enough.) The only problem is that is is sucking the humidity out.

I have a 20 gal. tank w/ a screen top that I have partially covered with a piece of plexiglass to help trap some of the humidity. I mist daily to keep the humidity up but it always drops down.

Right now the humidity is at 38% and with misting I can bump it up to %50 but it'll drop back down after an hour or so.

What are some options out there for humidifiers? Will I encounter any problems using them?

    thx guys/gals

what type of substrate are you using? a thick substrate will block alot of heat from the uth. try covering around 90% of the top to help keep in moisture. you can use a small room humidifier to help keep the room/area the cage is in more humid. a small one from walmart/lowes/target would be fine (20 bucks or so).

interesting home-made humidifiers, could be interesting trying to make one.

I am using paper towel for substrate.

I think I'll try to make my own since I don't want my entire room to be really humid.

    thx
