    How is the temperment of a Demeril Boa?
    I am thinking about getting a Demeril boa, as one of my first snakes. Are these snakes calm? or will it end up killing me when its an adult?

    Haha, no way...they are sweeties. I have two and they are THE calmest snakes I own. They are as easy to handle as my rosies are. Watch out on feeding day though. Not that they are mean, just aggresive eaters.

    Cool, thats really the answer I was looking for. I have a 43 gal tank will that be big enough for an adult? Also what do they eat when the are adults? I really appreicate the info alot, and as soon as it get it ill post some pix. Thanks

    I have two dumerils. Both are a bit flighty, but are not aggressive. Excellent eaters though.

    No, a 40g tank is not big enough. Plan on a 4'x2' cage. They can top 7 or 8 feet. This is my 7'+ female dum.
