Testing out the new TOS - Ball found after 1.5 years in Texas
Okay, maybe it's the aging rebel inside me, but of course I'm going to test the waters with this new TOS. I was just going to make a comment about this thread on the KS forum, but I thought I would link to it now.

Initially I found it incredible that a Ball could survive a Texas winter, but after looking at the historic temps in Ghana, I'm even more impressed. :P I always assumed Balls were relatively weak when it came to cold temps, but this one seemed to do okay after being left out in the cold for that long. Of course nobody knows what happened to it during that time and whether or not it was able to find a warm location during the really cold periods, but I'm still pretty impressed.

I saw that yesterday myself! I was amazed - but comparing markings - it is indeed the same snake. It will be interesting to see what others think.

I saw that too, only I was mistaken and thought it was in Florida...oops.

It really is amazing how much our critters can handle sometimes.

    Underwhere?

BTW. I was CB in Texas and can see how a ball python could survive a full season.
