    taking my 1st step
I am currently looking for a young female BP normal in my area to purchase. Its gonna be my Bd present and with some negotiating, my future wife seems fine with the idea of having more than one snake in the house. Over the past year i have had an interest in someday breeding my 05 male normal and i think i am now ready to go in that direction. Its actually happening a little faster than i thought. My plans was to wait another year b4 purchasing a female but circumstances came together at the right time, and i am ready. I have lots to learn, but by the time my Bp's are ready to breed i am sure i will know what is needed to get started. plus i have a few yrs to purchase all that is needed and by learning from u people and this site, things should be fine.

Thanks for the help so far, nate

I have a suggestion :) You should buy a female from a reputable breeder; that way, you know what you're getting. At most pet stores, people really aren't 100% reliable in their sexing of BPs. Heck, I myself missexed two of my BPs; you want to make sure you're def. getting a female, so I would go with a breeder.
