I just sold something on e-bay but the buyer for some reason can't pay me thru paypal. he says its something on my end, this sii entirely possible as i have never sold anything before.

You need to set up a new account. They verify your checking (or whatever) account by sending two "deposits" to your designated account. You then verify THAT by confirming the miniscule amounts. This takes about 3 BUSINESS days....even if you do online banking.

They also expect to be able to confirm that you're a legit email account by confirmation links.

I tried to be a buyer via PP and it took almost two weeks to get it all set up.

I misunderstood. Sorry. I read it that since you'd hadn't sold anything before, you didn't have an account. My apologies.

I have sort-of ideas, but I've never been a "seller" using PayPal. Vaughn and Jamie and the others will hopefully pipe in soon.

    Good luck!

are you certain that you provided your buyer with your correct paypal address? if you have a personal account and not a business account then you cannot accept payments from a credit card, so if that is how they are trying to pay that could be the problem. its super simple to upgrade your account to a business account and doesn't cost anything, so if you plan to sell more in the future you might consider it.

here is a link to upgrade your account: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...nonpro-welcome. make sure you sign in on the right hand side and upgrade as opposed to making a new account since you already have one. there is also a link on that page with more info about business accounts.
