Fifa World Cup 2006 Starts Today!

So...
It is time!
It has finally arrived, the Fifa World Cup!

I don't know if any of you are excited as I am but I can hardly sit still in my chair at work! :pinkele:
The first game kicks off in a little over 1 hour and Germany & Costa Rica will start first!

Now, who do you think will win it all?

I'm an England fan and will always be, so that's my first pick, then it would be the Dutch!

Ive been getting ready all morning, Im a Brazil and England fan, but my choice would be Brazil winning it all.

England all the way! Although i have a soft spot for Australia, would be nice for then to do well. Plus iam a newcastle supporter and craig moore (there center back) plays for us.

Not a bad one but it looks like Costa rica is gonna suffer!

Costa Rica may suffer, but I'm quite disappointed with Germany's performance (disclaimer: I've been known to be something of a Germany fan ;-)). The defense is POOR! If they're dropping the ball like this against CR, they don't stand a chance against the "real" teams.

Not sure yet about my favourite for the tournament...I don't much like the South American teams, though I enjoy watching Brazil play.

I say Soccer is crapola! Any sport where you can play 60 minutes and end up nil-nil on a regular basis makes me yawn! Go Jamaica! :)
