    Cynical people
Anyone else notice there are a lot of cynical people that respond to ads?

I had an animal listed for what I thought was a very good price. Well, some people were nice in their inquiries but the vast majority thought I was trying to pull something and that there was something wrong with the since the price was in their eyes was too low. What?

So, I decided to relist at a higher price. Now I have several people emailing me saying the new higher price is great for what I am offering? Again. What?

Are there really that many cynical people that think everything is a scam or low prices means substandard sick animals?

This is just way too weird.

    I don't get it.

Lol, or it was those who are also selling the same animal and didn't want you to lower the cost of that said animal on them. Economics.

I never thought of that. A lot of the emails had xxxxreptiles@xxxx for the return email. Makes you wonder.

I wouldn't take any of it personally. You'll get some who may have more experience selling or whatever or just ****** who may have a genuine interest but can't pay the price your asking. I wouldn't change the price due to a few nasty emails...if they don't want it or can't afford it tell them to look elsewhere. Those that say your price is to low...well I've never come across that but I've not sold on a large scale. In short, start with you want and think the animal is worth, the worst that can happen is that it won't sell the first time. Fooey on the people who offer other than constructive criticism.

It's just insulting that people will think I am trying to pass off substandard or sick animals just because the price is lower.

I try to be as honest as possible in my ads and to insinuate that joe smhoe is selling this for X$ so yours must be crap since you only have it listed for that amount is just wrong.

I know I shouldn't take it personally but man it really gets under my skin when people send emails like that.
