Sunday was an awesome day for us; Cuesta threw an awesome, healthy filly. She should grow up to be the same color as her dam. She is a sweetie!

For some reasno she kept trying to nurse by Cuesta's fromt legs; she got the idea eventually though.

We like to get them out and moving the first day; she was a joy to bring in/out (think: a lot of pushing/leading mom back and forth to get her to follow mom, etc.) Monday she was leading a lot better though.

Oh how precious!!! Just makes me all shivery inside to see it! I can only imagine how awe-inspiring it must be when they're your own and you're right there to be a part of it! She's a doll!!! What fun it's going to be to watch her and Domingo playing together! Does she have a name yet?

I love that first gangly picture. It's like... what are these things and why aren't they holding me all the way up. Very nice little family you have there.

Awww! Congrats on the second healthy and gorgeous baby! It's amazing to see the difference between the newborn and Domingo, who looks like he's not afraid of eating, hehe! =)

WOW cool, I know the felling, we allsow in the past breed horses, and one was born here at my jard!!

Thanks! She is finally getting the idea.. "follow behind mommy." She is losing that "dopey" foal look and getting a little personality of her own already; loves to kick up out in the pasture and chase Domingo (the colt) around; but mama Cuesta usually pins her ears at Domingo; and you don't wanna mess with Cues if yo're a horse!

Can't believe I missed this thread! Congrats on your second lovely, healthy foal. She's gorgeous! Any new pics of your herd?

What a beautiful little girl. You'll have to update us when you've found a name for her.
