    feeding
I have a quick question i hope everyone will answer soon. How long can a mouse be all the way in a snake's mouth before the snake's in danger? I just fed my snake and after catching it and having it all the way in his mouth, which took about 15 minutes, he took another 15 trying to get the mouse down. I was getting kind of worried since this is the longest he's taken to swallow a mouse after having it completely inside (other than the tail). He got it down while i was typing this, but i was just hoping to hear if that kind of thing happens sometimes.

I had one snake with a rat fuzzy stuck in it's mouth for almost 18 hours!! :O He had it in his mouth, and next thing I knew he went into his hide. I just figured he'd finished eating and since he was in shed, he just decided to go back to his hide as usual. The next day, I checked everyone again, and found it still stuck in his mouth!! I removed it, and checked his mouth. Everything seemed fine. It's been a couple months since that happened, with no ill effects. (not that I recommend that, AT ALL!!)

So 15-30 minutes is cool! ;) :gj:
