New Female

I got this girl today from the local reptile shop, they just got her in today along with a male who the old owner said he saw them locked up. She weights around 1400 grams right now. Shes got a really dark black color and has some granite specks all over which is pretty cool (I think)

She's beautiful! If you need a name suggestion, I'd suggest "Penny" - her spots on the back totally remind me of pennies. =)

thanks everyone, I keep trying to talk them out of one of their females that has a very weird pattern (he said he will sell her if she doesnt drop any eggs). Ill try to get more pics after she settles in for a while.

Jamie, do you check your local pet stores regularly? In another month or two there should be a few more surrenders than normal as kids go off to college and can't take them with them, and parents refuse to care for them.

I'm probing two more adults myself this afternoon. They have three, but the third either has a broken back or a growth on their back (and it was the prettiest one too!).
