Pictures from the Dominican (D/U killer:Jo is safe now)
I forgot all about this forum! Here are a few wildlife and nature photos I took in the Dominican. I don't believe there are any native snakes and there weren't many lizards either. But here are a couple lizards, a cow, a grasshopper and some flowers. Some were taken at the resort and a couple were taken while driving through the Dominican countryside.

Yay! I get to see threads with tons of pics now! (happily hugs her DSL modem) :)

Great pics Jamie! Love the cow LOL! The flower photography is awesome! I really really have to learn how to take nice pics like that (apparently one is supposed to read the big thick book that comes with one's digi cam...imagine that! :P ) Any idea what type of lizard that is?

The cow picture was taken while driving by it at about 30mph. Not sure why it came out at all. As far as taking pics, I am not really good at it and I definitely dont read manuals. With a good, high megapixel digi, its point and shoot at its best. Auto focus, auto flash, auto everything. Sure you could adjust it, but I wouldnt know where to start. Not sure what types of lizards those are.
