Re: pictures together?....
they should be fine, im just a little concerned about the baby. The age is what worrys me. ive never had a ball strike at another. Maybe others have but I have not.

Actually I'd be more concerned you are breaking quarantine to put a new snake with an established snake while you take the pics. I'd wait till the quarantine period is over and then have some one just out of camera range who can grab the aggressive snake if it does turn on the more docile and apparently much smaller one (never hurts to be safe).

thats what im worried about. ive never seen/had/or even heard of a ball striking another ball besides cannibalism or maybe self defense in the wild. but this is the most aggresive ive ever seen. i mean if its willing to strike at a tiny mouse because its scared of the mouse being in its territory im not sure about another snake.
how quickly can mites get from one snake to another? i havent seen any mites on either of the snakes or in either of their enclosures but it never hurts to be safe...
or maybe im a little too paranoid:oops:

What i do to prevent mites over all is whenever i have a new addition to my group is ,i ALWAYS spray them with mite killer even though i do not see a mite. While they are in quarintine(spelling sorry) i never handle the new snake first when it comes to cleaning or water refreshing.I tend to my established group then i use hand sanitizer before i handle my new snake.I had my fill with mites several years back and pledge to never put up with them ever again  lol.Now the part about taking a pic take two pics(one of each snake) to post here, no worries that way.
