unexpected addition

A friend had a JCP she was looking to sell as it was proving to be a nippy handful and offered it to me. Though I am strapped I offered her 50 feeders as she needed them over time for her other herps - a decent deal given the cost at local stores and we struck a deal.

I snapped a quick shot as I did the transfer to a new enclosure for acclimation/quarantine. This lil tucker has a very nice head pattern, including a couple of false eyes perched up top:

Gorgeous!! I thought I was getting one as a rescue, but turns out the guy didn't want to get rid of it, his neighbor wanted him to get rid of it. She is a psycho.

Thanks all - I certainly never expected that sort of benefit to come from a rat surplus!

It's a tad smaller than our other 2 morelia - about 3.5'. The woman I got her from said it was sold to her as a "pastel" - but we both question the source on that.

Sweet carpet you got there. Good deal too, man I saw an adult pair over the weekend for $600 and wanted to buy them so bad.
