When I mean up, I mean UUUPPP!!!!

I keep talking about how Carmen, our Surinam BCC, likes to go UP, I thought I'd show you.

We have a metal railing in our cheesy, poopy butt apartment which is peeeerfect for snake climing. Here's a series of Carmen climbing from last night, elasped time about 2 minutes, after which I put the camera down and hold my hands underneather just in case she falls or heads for the torchiere lamp (which she has gone for before).

She then will climb along the top for as long as I let her. UP!

Aww.. Carmen is sooo cute! Isn't is funny how boas like heads? Ophelia tries to get her big butt up on my head, but like.. yeah right!

Hehe, I hear ya. I kept thinking last night, what I am going to do when she's 8'+ and whatever zillion pounds trying to curl up into a crown on my head? :O

Too cute! Our younger BP's especially nosey butt Kyna like my ponytail/bun thing too. Just watch the silly things though. I've had Rionach manage to stuff herself between my hair tie and my scalp and get totally tangled up more than once. Too funny to have to run find Mike while clutching a snake to my head LOL.

Hehehe....those are GREAT pictures! And Carmen is looking quite stunning...even my snake-indifferent husband was taken aback by her colors and markings when he saw the pictures over my shoulder. :D

Yeah I took Harry the burm to work on a day off once to say hi to co-workers. One lady, who loves snakes, was just enjoying him wrapped around her shoulders, when he got stuck in her hair. Harry liked that (hairy Harry?) and it took a bit to extract him.

Oh Harry...such a mischevious ham! ;)

Maybe it just happens to us females with longer, thick hair but it seems no matter what pet I have they want to go burrow in it LOL. When we had a huge male pet rat awhile back called Kracker, he actually learned how to tug on my scrunchie to get my hair to fall down somewhat so he could mess about in it LOL. Crazy rat! The snakes seem to love to weave through it so I always have to have it up high and tight when I'm handling.

Years ago on the Toronto subway system I had a drunk fall asleep on my butt length hair so I guess it's just comfie or something LOL. Learned my lesson back then to keep my hair tucked away on the trains and not hanging about inviting nappers! Oh and I ran home and treated my hair....Mr. Drunk was not a really nice clean drunk if you know what I mean and buggies in that much hair is just to scarey to contemplate!
