am thinkig to buy blood python . i read that they have some feeding problems the 1st yeat of age. this is true? it ieasy to covert to frozen?

I've never had a problem with mine.. or heard of anyone else having issues. Just get one from a reputable source and you'll be fine. In the 15 months that I've had my two, only once did one of them not eat. They are absolute eating machines.. and they always eat pre-killed or frozen/thawed.

I don't know.. I would not recommend getting anything but CB. There are tons of healthy CB available and they are not expensive.

Depending on where you get it and the appearance.. they range from about 80-200 more for a super nice one.

may i ask why? cb's are widely available and are not expensive at all. you'd also be getting a better animal. a wc could have parasites, etc.;)
