I finally got one!!!

My husband got me a B. smithi (Mexican red knee tarantula) for Mother's Day!!! I finally have a red knee!!!! I've been in the hobby for 7 months now and was starting to feel like the only serious T keeper that didn't have one. Well now I do. It is a 3/4 of an inch sling, so I've got a while before it gets big. It is so cute!!!!!!

He does not seem interested in kicking, but boy is he speedy!!!! His sex has been chosen as male and his name is Algonquin, Gonk for short. I'll have Paul take some pics and post them, he is adorable!!

i've got a little smithi sling as well... heehee and i got it cause i felt 'lacking' since i didn't have any LOL

Hooray! I felt so silly as well until I finally added the red knee to my collection a couple of months ago. I think I had about 40 or so T's and I still didn't have a classic B. smithi!

I haven't tried to take pictures of mine, it's still pretty small.
