Is it really as difficult as people say it is? Like if everything isn't 100% perfect, will it still work? I'm asking because I'm thinking about saving up over the summer to get one, but from what I've heard, they're a difficult snake to keep. Thanks for the input.

Well long ago I had a Emerald. Such a beauty!!! When she was young she was shy but fierce! I do have to say they are bit on the aggressor side. But when she was older she was a bit more calmer if you can say that with the Emeralds. But I had to get rid of her because I just didnt have a big enough tank for her:( She just loved to climb and be all over plants. And at the time I live in an apartment and couldnt build an bigger viv for her which I feel guilty about. I havent heard or seen her for over 20+ yrs, but hope she is doing well. The guy I gave her to bred Emeralds and had a big empty viv for her. I bet she is happy and still a fiesty big girl.
