    Great success with first meal!
I've only had Kratos (my bp) for a week now and today was his day to eat. I went and bought a little pinky mouse from the pet store where I bought him...I was a little surprised by the size of the pinky (thinking it was going to be a little bigger). The thing was tiny and his eyes were still closed. Anyway, I put it in the cage near Kratos and waited (from a distance as to not spook him). 10 minutes or so passed and then Kratos went to town! Made me feel good (at least for his first meal) that he was comfortable enough to eat. My only question is was what I fed him enough? Kratos is only about 15-16". I don't want to overfeed but I want him to have his fill also. Anyway, wanted to share my experience and I promise I'll get some pics up soon!

pinkys are probably too small for a single meal. Try a fuzzy next time.

Its awesome when they eat isnt it!!? You can feed a meal about the same girth as your snake is. If its the same size around dont worry about it being to big. I feed Davu small rats and even tho there not as big as he is around they are close but his first meal when i got him was a medium sized rat. Real real close to the same size around as he is and maybe even just a tad bit bigger and although he didnt eat until his 2nd week after taking that one there were no problems!
    Good luck and congrats!

Hatchling bps can take fuzzy mice from birth. You may even be able to take a hopper or small adult mouse. Congrats of the feeding though. :D
