I think it would be your call. Myself, if I had a large expensive collection with morphs and what not I may do it.

personally, I'd rather take the money they would charge as a monthly premium and put it in the bank every month. fortunately, if cared for properly, snakes are very hardy animals. So let the money build up in your bank instead of the insurance co's.
