Ok haveing a problem with temps again everytime i try to get temp correct it never works for me. This is the problem she is in a 12qt. Container and i have a 11"x12" flexwatt for heat, I have a lamp dimmer on it and 1/4 of the flexwatt under the container. My problem is on the cool side it's in the 70s and on the warmer and half of the container side it's in the 80s Im using a Temp Gun and i just can't get the temps to stay correct. Im totally stressed out on this i can't get the temps correct im using newspaper for the substrate. Do you think she will get RI i just don't want anything to happen to her i've read the temps and read caresheets until im blue in the face but it seems like it never works for me. I need help!!

Move the flexwatt so it's under half of the tub.. and get a thermostat! Lamp dimmers are not reliable enough IMO.
