    Ahhhhhh!
So I went downstairs to feed the dogs, do some last minute studying for my Micro Economics exam, and check on the snakes. My Rosy Boa seems to have knocked down her thermometer which was held on with electrical tape. She got stuck in the tape and took off about a half inch of her scales, and she was still stuck. I was able to get the tape off of her without further damage. I cleaned the wound up as best I could, and put her back in a box in her cage so the substrate wouldn't stick to her. HELP!!!! I could use any and all advice as to what I need to continue to do so my Rosy makes a full recovery.

First, get her to a reptile vet (find one here http://www.arav.org/Directory.htm)

I'd switch your substrate to newspaper or paper towels for now, so nothing can get stuck to the poor thing.

Never ever put tape into the enclosure in any way, shape, or form. This is not an uncommon occurance, and as you now know it's quite dangerous to a snake.

    Good luck!
