Please help, my lep is in shedding but it almost seems like she is dying. She will barely move and wont hold her head up. Are thses normal behavoirs of shedding or is something wrong?

Has she been eating normally? What substrate are you using? How long has it been acting like this?

I think she has been eating normally. She is on newspaper along with another lep about the same size, a lil smaller. I just saw her acting like this today. Her skin was white and is now peeling off. Is this normal shedding behavoir?

generally when in shed they will actively work to peel off the old skin--could she be dehydrated? is the old skin sticking so that she can't pull it off? perhaps a short soak in some shallow lukewarm water would help with the shed and hydrate her some.

I think she is ok now. She just finished shedding off the skin and she is actively moving now. At first when i saw her like she was i touched her because they usually move when i touch them and she didnt move and i really thought she was dead. Thanks for all the help. I am, pretty sure she is ok now.

sometimes the skin is really tight when they are shedding and restricts movement a little or makes them move kind of stiffly...maybe that is what you observed. glad to hear that she seems better now though. :)
