Skip a meal?

Should I give my BP's a week off from food?

They've been eating consistently and are currently on weaned rats every 7 days. They seem to be getting a bit bloated/chubby and I was wondering should I give them a week off from food? Would this cause any problems?

I don't want to disturb the routine, but feel giving them a week off from feed would be good for them. Any thought?

They are almost a year old and weigh between 500-600g.

I routinely give rotating groups of my animals a week off from food. No problems.

I need a week off of eating... :)

I also occasionally will skip a week if I have something going on during normal feeding day. Just means I've got some eager eaters next feeding day!

my snakes get very cranky when i don't feed them... but i think it would be good for them.

I just passed a scheduled "skip" week. Works great for me.... I skip a week about once a quarter (3 months).

yeah i have skiped meals most of the time when i forget though and wake up in the am and remember i didn't feed them and they are all fine
