Escape!
So Saturday night, Rorschach escaped. I usually keep a brick on top of his enclosure, but for some reason forgot to when I took him out last and he siezed the oppurtunity to make a slither for it. I descoverd this Sunday morning, did a futile search of my room {its a huuuge mess, many places for a snake to find a comfy place to hide}, and shut my door so that hopefully if he was still in my room, he wouldn't go far. I got home Sunday night, did another search to no avail, and went to bed. around 3:30am I heard a crash somewhere in the house. SOoo, i went downstairs and sat in the middle of the house, in complete darkness and silence, and waited. and waited. 30 minutes later I heard some more noise, and moved closer to where I thought it was coming from. More waiting! It was frusterating cuz I could really only listen when both the fridge and air was off. So around 5 in the morning I had it narrowed down to the kitchen, of course by that point I was somewhat delusional and it was entirely possible that I was hearing things at this point. Anyways, I turned on the lights in the kitchen, and found him cruising on the counter. I had probably passed him 3 or 4 times with the lights off. I think its incedible that he not only got downstairs, but on top of the counter. I'm glad hes been found by me, instead of someone going to make coffee this morning... anyways, just thought i'd share my experience! I think a nap is in order today

well you should probably still be worried about me, but the snake is happily back in his cage. actually hes probably not happy I interruped his adventure, but at least hes safe back in his warm nook.

can you imagine a great scene like one out of a horror movie. Someones in the shower...the door creeps open "whose there" someone yells. 30 seconds pass. they go back to washing there un mentionables and then all of a sudden this shadow approachs the shower curtin..stats moving up it...by the time they figure its a snake its to late...he's entering the shower..."NO NO GOD NO, AHHHHH!!!!"
ooh that would be a great way to find em!

Haha...Glad you found him man! I hate when snakes go missing. It used to happen a lot but with better caging comes fewer (or no) escapes...
