I saw this the other day and it looked neat. Has anyone used these, and are they any good? I think it'd be a pretty good thing for humidity-picky ball pythons. Any info on it?

I've never heard anyone mentioning anything like that before. I would be interested in any experience anyone has had. Would a BP mind drinking from bubbling water? I wonder how often you have to refill the bowl?

I've never heard of it either. I'm wondering if the bubbling action would freak them out, or disturb them with all the vibration.

i'd be more apt to use those with lizards that require high humidity or that will only drink water if it is moving as opposed to stagnant/still in a regular dish. i too think that all the bubbling and noise would stress a bp.

What about those waterfall thingies? Besides the obvious dangerous of a snakey curling up inside somewhere, do you think the water movement/noise would bother a bp (or any other snake for that matter) as well?

Wow I have never even heard of that before. But also big rip off. That doe snot include a pump. By a dollar worth of tube and drill and hoel in your bowl if you want that effect :)

i can't imagine a snake liking that at all. i have the little waterfall in with my cresties and it's just crap. it's always leaking and the substate is soaked all the time... so i've turned it off. too bad really, as it was costly :(

Thanks for the input. I'm just planning a lot now (even thought I might not be moving somewhere with pets allowed! It could all be in vain :( ) and it didn't occur to me that the vibrations would just freak the snake out.
But now I think it's probably like those store entrance scanners... I can hear them and they make me batty. Can't imagine dealing with that 24/7 AND some crazy giant running around the place!
