Where to start

Im thinking of starting to breed boas. Since the morphs and hets are cheaper than BPs I think I could skip normals and just go with a nice morph or hets. What would you start with if you were get a male and female. I thought a hypo male and normal female would be nice. Or I could start with a pair of albino hets. Also what size cage/tub would you use for a neonate/juvenile.

I suggest that you get the morph that you like most that is in your price range.

Salmon/hypos are nice because you can get one male and several females and produce many morph babies in the first breeding season. If you get a super salmon.. then all morph babies.

Have a look at the adult morphs a bit before you decide too. I personally do not care for adult albino boas.. they are mostly extremely faded and dull as adults. Sunglows are another thing though.. they're very nice, but DH pairs for sunglow are more pricey.

Neonates can live in shoebox size tubs for awhile.. then move up to boot or sweater box as they grow.
