    The End
I don't know if I posted it here but I've been having some problems with a female I got about a month ago. I got her to the vet and got an exam. He gave me some things to give to her orally. I couldn't get her to open her mouth, so she never got any of the calcium or food. I got home from work today and found her dead. Im gonna get a necropsy done tommorow if I can. When I took her to the vet he couldn't exactly give me a straight answer. How much are necropsies usually.

i am very sorry to hear that. :( i've been following your reports on her (on another forum) and i know you tried your best to help her to pull through.

put her in the refridgerator for now to keep her as fresh as possible. it's hard to say how much a necropsy will be because it varies so much so you will just have to call around and find out. my vet did a necropsy on a leo for me for just the price of an office visit ($28) but that is the lowest i've ever heard of one costing. another vet in my area charges $100 but i've heard quotes up to $300 so like i said, it really just depends on the place.

She was supposed to be gravid but never laid any eggs. I believe though calcium had a hand in it. I can't believe how hard it is to get a necropsy done in my town. No vets will do it.

A4 Animal hospital wont do it? I think thats the only place in town with an actual Reptile certified vet. I hope you can find someone to do it. Good Luck!!!
Oh, and sorry for your loss.
