    What types of materials would be the best for building enclosures. laminates, plexiglass????

    Depends on what type of enclosure you have in mind? rack? cage? display case? plexiglass airplane divided into 5 sections for snakes?

    display case--i currently have 3 sides covered w/scenery --

    i have a 20 gal long w/screen lid

    I am going to build mine out of hopes and dreams..Oh yeah and giant stacks of Twinkies!

    Seriously, for a display you might want to use wood and paint it with marine enamel. Install glass doors on sliders. There are some good plans around for display cages. Check out the caging section...Good luck!
