    Stewie: Curious but safe
Hey everyone, just thought I'd share my Bp, Stewie's true personality. After over a week and a half of settling in to the new home. His true personality shines through. He's curious, but safe. He keeps 65% of his body inside his hide and peeks out with his head, he's a nosy little guy, any moveent or sound outside of the tank and he starts to go on an exploration.

Its hilarious because he seems to be so curious yet after awhile it kind of sinks in that he's not completely hidden so he pulls back in quickly. :giggle: Ah well, just wanted to share.....

Hahahahahahaha! Well at least that's smarter than Rauri the BCI who stuffs his neck and head under the substrate then peeks up from it obviously figuring he's totally hidden. Geesh how do I explain to a snake that there's oh about 4.5 or more feet of fat butt BCI sitting in plain view!!! Too funny!

I love that BP habit of lurking out of their hide door watching the world go by...just too dang cute for words.

Well, I think he heard you guys about not hiding forever. Last night he was FULLY out and about, just exploring around. This morning when I turned on the light Stewie was just sitting there, feeling safe.

Ofcourse as soon as I turned the light on the process began ALL OVER again.

Dax does not lurk a lot. He will occasionally peek out, but as a general rule he is either in or out of the hide. He is very curious though. When we hold him, after he relaxes, he investgates everything! He hasn't been trying to get away from us when we hold him, he wants to explore us, so I'm taking that as a good sign. I think they are all curious, and I think that is a good sign. So how much longer do you have to wait before you handle Stewie, or have you?

I do handle him, yesterday we went for a road trip to Mens warehouse so I could buy a suit for my friends wedding. Everyone was, ofcourse, shocked at first but then amazed at how calm and collected he was.

You took your Ball Python out shopping? Any particular reasoning for this decision?
