    getting ready to shed
my guy is most likely goin to shed tonight. i just took him out for a few and he has been rubbing his face on everything and is now doing the same thing in his cage. i would imagine that this behavior is him getting ready to shed and loosen the skin, but have never seen him doing this before and wanted to see what yall thought.

Did you see previous signs that he was going into shed? Such as a pink belly or cloudy eyes?

o yea he is past that already. he was blue on friday so its about time, but its the first time ive seen him do this so wanted to see if my assumption about that behavior was correct.

Sounds normal to me. Just leave him be (since they get touchy when in shed), make sure the temps and humidity are good and watch for a shiny snake to appear near you!

he just shed. get up from my computer and look in his direction and there is a ball of shed sticking out of the hole to his hide.

Haha...that's awesome! They can be quick and sneaky about it sometimes!
