new girl..........have breeding stock now for next season.......yippeeeeeee

I was a bad girl today. went out to get a couple of new bulbs and plants for my scalie babies and if luck wasnt with me then god was. A local breeder was getting rid of his stock and had for sale some very nice BP's. All males in a few enclosures and I went to the back and found this single female all alone and gorgeous. I looked at my wallet and went straight to the guy and said i would take her. She is almost 4 foot long and weighs in at a wonderful 1142 grams. I talked to him and he let me have her for 190 euro or about 250 dollars instead of 250 euro and around 300 dollars. He knew me and knew she would be given a very good home with me.

I took alot of pics and even asked my daughter to hold her for a pic. My daughter is just over 4 and a half feet tall and so you can get a good idea of this girls size. I am having trouble uploading from my camera and will have to get hubby to sort it but i have tons of pics to show you. now for the settling in period...........sniff sniff i wanna hold her. BUt i guess Beauty and unnamed female number 1 will have to do for now........lol If that doesnt help then I will go get out my BRB's and see if that helps.....lol

250$ WOW!!! Is it a special morph or something because that seems really expensive. I can get a normal for like 80$ here.

Can you get an adult female normal for $80? $250 seems fair to me for an adult female. I did only pay $50 for mine, but because she was a pet store surrender and they like to move the adults out since most people want babies. But if you were to look on Kingsnake for females with some weight on them, many people ask that much if not more for normal girls.

I guess i thought the babies and adults sold for the same. i havent researched any prices for adults because i cant get any more snakes and i like to watch my snakes grow up, so i will buy them as babies usually. sorry for the confusion.

this deal was in ireland right? i think the prices are higher in europe.

ps. adult females go for a premium, you have to have them!!!

$250 is perfect. i have a pet store near me that breeds pastels and spiders, and they have normal adult males for $150 and normal adult female for $250.

yeah $250 is a great deal for an adult female, the ones ive seen listed on KS are somewhat higher, although I have been able to find a guy here who will sell me them for $100:zerb:. Still thats a GREAT deal tho:rockon:
