    I just got an accurite and am searching for ways to increase the humity to fifty. its increadably low right now (thirty percent) and I'm worried. I have water in the habitat. anything that could help would be much apprciated.

    What kind of enclosure are you using? Plastic tub? Glass viv? Or something else? And what kind of substrate?

    glass. I sprayed down the cage and it hiked the humidity to high seventy's.

    i used to cover about 2/3 of the screen lid with saran wrap, contact paper, or anything like that. All you need is to leave space for the heat lamp, and that will provide sufficient air flow.

    i use eco-earth type stuff and a large water bowl in my 20g. i cover part of the top with a t-shirt or towel and use a UTH. my humidity is usually a little high, like between 60-70% all the time. What size cage do you have?

    I have Kiros in a twenty and Montey in a fourty. the humidity is staying in the high fifty's now that I have them covered. but I'm keeping an eye on it just in case. thanks for the tips guys and keep them coming if you have any more.
