    How Long before Handle?
    hey everyone. I was just wondering how long I should wait after a meal to handle my BP? Also, what is the "no handle" period for?

    Generally you will want to wait 48 hours. The rule is so the snake isn't stressed to the point of regurgitation.

    You should not handle your ball python for 48 hours after a meal to allow for proper digestion of the food item.
