    ok so if i want to go and buy some new wood how would i go about making sure it is sanitary for my damen? I heard some of you putting it in the oven, how long and how hot i really dont want to start a fire... lol please let me know thanks again

    I've done it in the past at around 175F for an hour.

    Yup, Lawrence's recipe is good. Just has to be hot enough to kill whatever bugs or bacteria would be in there, but you don't want to scorch it either.

    We scorched a wooden hide and then Cleo refused to go near it - stinky!
