    eating side ways
    i fed Mitch earier today his usual 2 mice. the first one went well. the second one he ate side ways!! is that normal? that was the first time he did that. one more question ive been giving him 2 mice a week every wedesday for about 2 1/2 months do you think i can give him rat pups now? hes preety fat now.

    Don't worry my female ball python does that every now and then when the rats are smaller then her normal size.If you do not notice a small lump after he eats the 2 mice try a rat pup of the correct size to the thickest part of his midsection.Do not get upset though if he does not gulp up the rat pup as the scent is differant from his usual mice.Be patiant

    im not worried if he doesnt eat it. i think he will eat anything that moves. he tryed to bite me throught the tanks glass and i had just ate a chocolite chip cookie. Mitch is preety wierd if i eat chicken in my room (same room his tanks is in) he will come out like its feeding time.

    Now thats mean eating cookies and chicken in front of him and not sharing:P .Let me know if he does it the rat pup right away,good luck.

    I think its funny when they go down butt first.......that part at the end when the rodents face is right in the snakes mouth, priceless!

    he didnt eat it butt first. he aite it side first. the butt and the face were last.
