    He's a normal BCI but beautifully marked and has a high irridescence. He's also got a really sweet nature.


    Our two other Boas who were the same size when we got them last June are now 4ft and 4 1/2ft respectively. They've really grown fast:D

    Sorry but what is a BCI? Im completely new to Boas, wanna get one as my next little guy and absolutely love that one.

    Cloud... BCI stands for Boa Constrictor Imperator, which is the scientific name for the Columbian Boa and others from that part of the world. They are also sometimes referred to as RTB or Red Tail Boas.

    There are also BCC, which is Boa Constrictor Constrictor...which look very similar to BCI, but generally grow larger and typically have a much brighter red tail...also sometimes referred to as True Red Tails. Suriname would be an example of BCC.
