    Shed Aids?
Ok, I have been floating around some internet stores and I have seen the following products:

    ESU's Shed Ease - http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2006+113626

    and

    Zoo Med's Shedding Aid - http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2006+113626

Ok, so here is my question, Monty is having a bad shed (Due to his former home in a petshop) and I am trying to aid him along with it. So, I soaked him last night for 15 minutes and it seemed to help alot :) My question is, has anyone ever used these products and are they really all that good? And secondly the Zoo Med stuff claims it is good after shedding to help with "shine". Has anyone had any expierence with that?

    Thanks in Advance

I have used both products. To be honest, I think they are a waste of money. Soaking your snake in the tub does better.

I had one snake that had an almost entire retained shed (before in my possession). All it took was two days, of soaking for 1 hour each day, and ALL of the shed was gone. Eyecaps and all. No sense in spending money, when water works just as well. ;) I'm in total agreement with Jeanne, they're just a waste of $$$. :D
