    Wow!

People from back then would be totally amazed to see what we have today. Technology has really come a long way in the last 50 years.

At that size, it probably also can double in function as a boat. The steering wheel is to navigate.

Haha, I didn't mean it like that.

I mean like if I went back in time and went up to that guy with a palm pilot or laptop, he would probably crap in his pants from sheer amazement. I don't think anyone could have expected technology to progress as it has.

Very true, James.....hehehe...sounded funny when I read it though! Makes you really wonder what WE would see if we could get a glimpse of everyday, real-life technology from 50 years into our future.

It really isn't that ancient history. My grandfather designed some silicon chips (for which I have some of the published patent descriptions - highly geeky!), but this was only in the late 60's and 70's...neato stuff. =)

Today, while retired, he totally geeks out with email, internet surfing, etc...I get so much spam from him for his music endeavors, genelogy work, etc. he sends out to the whole family, hehe!

Hahahahahahah!! That explains the steering wheel! Personally, I think it's even funnier as a hoax! LOL
