He's finally on the way!

I'm so excited! Over the last couple of weeks I've been looking at the photos of the beautiful Vietnamese Blue Beauties that Sheree has posted. They're just incredible! Well, I finally couldn't resist any longer and I went ahead and bought one. He's officially on the way and should be here tomorrow morning! :carrot: I've spent most of this evening trying to think up possible names for the 'little' guy (he's appx. 4 ft. long) but I guess I need to wait until he's here to see what his personality is like. Don't want to name him sweetie-cutie-pie if he's got a 'it's me against the world' attitude, lol! Anyway, sorry for babbling....I've just got the new young'un jitters! :oops:


Oh, and a thank you to Sheree for all her help! :hug: She's been really wonderful and very patient in answering all the questions I've had about the care of these snakes. Thanks again! :D

Congrats, I love Blue Beautys. The local reptile shop has a couple adults they just got in and they are BEAUTIFUL. Again Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let you know, those beauty snakes are beauties. I live ten minutes from Sean, and have seen those snakes many times. By the way, you can't go wrong buying anything from Sean. Enjoy your new baby.

Lessee...names...some ideas!

Beau (pronounced "bow" as in ribbon and bow) - French word for a handsome man

Nguyen or General Nguyen (pronounced "when") - most popular Vietnamese man's name

Meris - Latin for "of the sea" (going along with the sea being blue)

Danube or Blue Danube - 2nd longest river in Europe, usually referred to as "Blue Danube"

My pleasure to be a help, Crow! :) I adore these snakes to bits. When we start adding to our collection here, we intend to name all our Blue Beauties with ocean/sea names. Just really seems to suit them, imho. Both the calm and the ... well, Neptune! lol!
