Female Bluefields Boa Pics

Many thanks to Ron Tremper for bringing these into the country.
This girl is a Bluefields locality Nicaraguan boa. They range from the area of Pearl Lagoon in the north all the way south towards Costa Rica on the east coast of Nicaragua.

She has settled down nicely since arriving about a month ago. I will post updated pics in a few days (she is in blue right now).

she's gorgeous, and i love that orange on her neck. ive never heard of a bluefields nicaraguan, very interesting.

This girl is one of 32 that Ron brought into the country and the first locality specific group of Nics. These don't have the typical circleback pattern of most nics you see on the market (plus they are more colorful).
I love the orange stripe down her head and neck. I wish my camera wasn't a piece of junk and could capture the true colors.

I have been very interested in these snakes since I first saw the listing on kingsnake a few months ago. Fantastic animals.. I'll look forward to more pictures.

Grab one if you can. Last I checked there were only 5 left.

I was fortunate to be able to get a lone female. Now I just need to save up and get a male (hopefully before they are all sold).

I wish I had the extra money to do so, but alas no. I will have to wait.

She is actually an '05. Talk about a dwarf species of boa. LOL. She eats like a pig too.
