Re: Snake on the loose!!!
i would search, with a flashlight, late at night for the snake. try to keep all the doors and windows closed too so it will cut-off routes and/or keep her in the room she is in. ive heard of people putting flour along walls and on doorways but i dont know how well that works as ive never tried it.
Re: Snake on the loose!!!
From all I've read, the majority of the time, a snake is found within 10-20 feet of its own home. Look in between the furniture and the walls, and under every piece of furniture that doesn't rest directly on the floor. They can and will squeeze into unbelievably tight spots, so leave no stone (or sofa!!) unturned!
Also, a trick to try is to lay out plastic bags (the kind you bring groceries home in) all along the edges of walls and doorways...dim the lights and sit quietly and patiently (maybe watch a movie or play a computer game with the sound at a moderate level)...and listen for any tell-tale rustling of those bags.
Re: Snake on the loose!!!
that is true, they dont go very far. when zulu got loose and was gone for half a day i found him 2 feet away from his enclosure, in my closet.
