Diamond

Last night when I got on the computer, our dog Diamond climbed up on my side of the sofa to take a nap. She looked so comfy, I didn't have the heart to kick her off! She got to keep my seat! LOL

Diamond will be seven in November. She's a great dog. She also kept us from being broken into last Thanksgiving Eve. Came home and all four apartments above us had their doors kicked in. None on my floor. We think that she was barking and drawing so much attention that they went upstairs instead.


She sounds more ferocious that she is. And she will do ANYTHING for a belly rub! She has a 'reputation' at the dog park for begging for belly rubs! LOL

It was so cute yesterday afternoon. The same boys in my complex that love seeing the snakes adore Diamond "almost" as much as she adores them (she thinks they walk on water! LOL). Anyway, they came by yesterday and knocked on the door and said "Can Diamond come out to play?". I swear, she thinks that she's one of the boys. They play a little pick-up football, and she's right in there with them.

All we have to say is "there's the boys!" or "do you see the boys?" and she flips out to get out of the apartment! And boy does she talk to them too! Never heard a more vocal dog than when she's with them, not barking, but what we call "woo wooing". LOL
