    Tomato frogs in mixed tank?
We have a lrge setup with 2 Whites and a Chubby. Before I go to the trouble of finding a Tomato frog of similar size, purchasing and quarantine for the new addition, I would like to know how they are about being housed with other species. I have never had a Tomato frog before. If anyone has addition information on the I would love it .

I wouldnt, since they are known for eating anything that can fit into their mouths or atleast trying to eat it.

We have been keeping 2 varieties of frogs in the tank with respect to their sizes. But want any and all feedback I can get. I know some frogs seem to be far more aggresive than others. If a Tomato frog won't work out ,I could still use input as far as more social types.

the problem with mixing species is that it's a contained area and many of them carry diseases which don't harm them, but will harm another as a form of protection... and then of course there's the toxicity of them as well...

    Thanks,

I have had reptiles all my life, but have only touched on frogs. Before the collection grows I want all the knowledge I can get. We get so attached to these guys I would hate to loose one. For beginners we are doing well. No losses yet, started about 3 yrs ago. Never thought I could care for frogs so much. JUST SO CUTE!!:D

I mix frogs with no issues just not my big mouth frogs, I have several Red eye tree frogs and various dart frogs in the same enclosure for over a year now and they are all thriving.
