need help choosing what to get next...
okay, i'm soooo in love with red tailed boas... but because of their size, i don't want to get one (just don't have the room for a nice size encl for them) - so i'd like to stay with something that only gets the size of a ball.

of course my dream snake would be a rtb but a dwarf LOL

i have two cornsnakes - valentino and gandalf and my one beautiful fat squishy ball - dexter.

so, what do you all suggest?

Well, a male hog island boa will likely stay under 6'. I know of some breeder age males that are 4.5'.

There are many, many colubrid species to choose from.. kings, milks, corns, rats, and their morphs. Any particular color(s) or patterns you're interested in?

sand boas (kenyan and roughscaled) are lovely little pets.

jungle carpet pythons stay pretty small..

Nicaraguans have muddy patterns usually and are known for being aggressive.

I've recently gotten interested in snakes in the Pituophis family: Bulls, Gophers, and and Pines. I'm actually checking into getting a bull... they can get pretty large---up to 6ft.---but they aren't too heavy-bodied.

Gophers and Pines stay a bit smaller and there are tons of different morphs and colors. And, speaking of colors, there's always Kings and Milks (*cough* *cough* Sinaloan milksnake).

I own quite a few of the species I mentioned too, so if you've got questions or want pics, just ask.
