can ball pythons close their eyes

just wondering if they can close there eyes? havent seen mine do this yet.

Nope.. no snake has eye lids. Instead they have a clear scale that covers the eye (the eyecaps) which they shed with the rest of their skin.

I'd say no.....since I see no eye lids....but I am no bp expert.
