Went out herping today :)

...and I still have not seen a snake this year...ha ha....but I guess I keep looking around the same area too. I know where I can find some when I feel like taking a drive ;)

I did catch a good photo of a male fence lizard doing a pushup and puffing his neck to impress the ladies:

And I was taking a pic of this juvi. fence lizard and then realized that there was an anole right next to it. It is great to see animals sharing habitat :D

I totally missed the anole the first time I looked at the pic. It's so cool to see how well animals blend into their surroundings. :D
