    I was telling Vaughn this story, and thought I'd share. As you know, I picked up my new rack yesterday and have been working on getting everything regulated.

    Felt pretty confident when I went to bed last night that everything was spot on - and got the new girl tucked in.

    Karl gets up before me this morning, and says "come quick! your rack is steaming!" Talk about jolting upright out of bed and feet moving very fast.

    His "steaming" was the condensation on the front of the tub. Obviously, more ventilation holes are required! LOL

    Woke me up though - better than a cup of coffee!

    LOL, zulus tub does that when he moves his water bowl over the warm side sometimes. what a way to wake up!

    Reminds me of the sign I saw at the entrance to the reptile show we went to San Diego yesterday: "Be careful to not leave your reptiles out in the sun as they will cook."

    I can well imagine your panic - many's the time I've crept out in the dead of night to check on a temperature I wasn't quite sure of - or the "did I close the viv door properly?" scenario ...

    pshew, i'm glad that's all it was! there is NOTHING like hearing, "honey COME QUICK!" from the herp room. talk about a heart attack!
